The venue was first introduced as an LGBT club by the owners
in 2004. Cix club is welcoming a mixture of gay and bisexual men,
a remarkable number of young rent-boys as well as transvestites,
transsexuals and their admirers. It is located on a narrow street somewhere
behind Ege
Palas Hotel, close to the sea side of Alsancak; Izmir's famous promenade area also know as Kordon Boyu.
It is busy after midnight, usually between 01:00-04:00
